Went by after work with some friends. Found a nun to let us in and it was so beautiful! Very different from other churches in Gulu.

St.Joseph's cathedral is beautiful and very rich in History. I have prayed in the Cathedral for over 8 years when in Gulu and was always mesmerized by its grandiosity and beauty. It has played an important role during the war to protect civilians and children....More

One of the largest churches in Uganda. The architecture and history are worth the trip. Try to go on Sunday so you can see the mural on the ceiling inside as well as the two Bishops that are preserved in the church. Very interesting place...More
