The tour was nice but not really exceptional and the staff is really not well organised nd not super friendly. We did the chocolate moulding with the kids. It was done in less than 5 min and they could one prepare one "unicorn" each. There...More
The tour of the chocolate factory starts with you making your own 2 ocolate bars; BIG bars. There are three types of choclolate: White, Milk and Dark to mix and match. In addition, there are about 12-15 ingredients you can add to your bars from...More
The visitors center is not a dramatic experience (audio guide),however, the chance to get a "Rotation Sushi" of chocolates + chocolate fountain is a good reason for chocolate lovers.
Staff were very friendly.
Don't skip the chocolate moulding (book in advance). This option is lots...More
This was not what was expected! Please don't think you'll get a "factory tour" like we did. Made the trip from Lucerne about 1-1/2 hours with train plus bus. But a paradise for kids and chocolate lovers with the "all you eat" sampling.

The staff don't communicate and don't seem to know what they're doing. I don't speak much German and wanted to do the tour. Bought my ticket and was directed to the wrong area. The lady checking tickets there acted like she'd never seen a ticket...More

I felt like a small child in this tour through the Freij chocolate factory. To be honest I do not like these chocolates best, as they are too sweet for me. But the tour itself was fun. Dressing up as a praliné. Tasting all the...More
