Moderate hike with a great outcome, definitely worth it! It should take 45 mins-1 hour to hike to the waterfall and the same time back, but we stopped for pictures and rested a few times so it took us two hours one way. There’s a...More

Hike is moderate and could be done relatively quickly. The view on top is amazing and you can walk under the waterfall. Highly recommended

This is marked as an easy/beginner hike. In Norway did does not mean stroller friendly, as there were a lot of (sherpa) steps going up. Still doable for a 4,5 year old. You get to go behind the waterfall, which is pretty cool.

This is a short, steep hike that takes you to Storseterfossen waterfall and a stone staircase that goes right down behind it, so close that you can feel the spray. It’s a very well-marked trail with about a 230 meter/750 foot climb. To get there,...More

We hiked up from the Fiord center-cross the street and a number of trail heads start there. It is definitely a moderate hike that was challenging in some places-I'm an active spin/cardio person at a gym regularly and I felt this hike when it was...More

We walked about 45 minutes to get to the waterfall. The hike was quite easy and you get really nice views and scenery through the hike. You have also the opportunity to walk behind the waterfall through a staircase.

From Union Hotel is about 4 km up hill. It's very steep in places, so even though is a short distance on a well maintained path, you need to have some level of cardio fitness. The waterfall was strong and loved going behind it.

We hiked up to the waterfall with a local guide as part of a P & O excursion. It was quite strenuous in places, even though much of the route we took has been conveniently man-made (by sherpas we were told). Decent walking footwear strongly...More

We went for a great walk using the green route. What a nice walk, but be aware of the fact that it isn't a easy walk when you walk with an two year old. It's worth the walk though

Nice easy hike to this not famous waterfall, small but really scenografic. The parking is just in front of a nice restaurant.

You can walk up the stairs that originate in the port-walk to the right-you can't miss them-there will be a lot of people climbing them. That will take you to the Fjord center. The restrooms are in separate building... More

We did this modest hike in July & there was no snow at all. The waterfall isn't at a particularly high level so I can't imagine this being a problem at the end of May either. The path is a good one so rain shouldn't be a... More
