You cant take photos but this means no one has spoilt your first magical moment of seeing the grotto. Our tour guide was so interesting and the rock formations just beyond words. Definitely worth a visit. Also worth noting that it’s probably not suitable for...More

The tours run every hour in Italian and English. I have been to a number of (tourist) caves throughout the world, but none as expansive as this! The column in the centre is over 30 metres and is quite mind blowing. Tours run every hour,...More

It was pouring in Cala Gonone so we went to the caves. They were very impressive, the tour lasted about 40 mins. Be warned that when it rains everyone goes tot he caves!

En route from Dorgali to Orosei we stopped for a visit. The tour was brief, but impressive. Something different from the beaches. Glad we dropped by.

This is a very impressive cave. You walk down around 50 m, overlooking the big cavern. There are several huge stalagmites in the middle. The tour (starting every hour) takes about an hour and our guide was very nice.

Huge pillar (stalagnate) in the middle of a huge cave is really worth seeing. The whole roof of the cave is covered with number of smaller but impressive stalactites.

We have seen a lot of caves - this was different. You go down a lot of stairs into the cave and gives a great experience

The Grotta is located just outside Dorgali with hourly visits. Interesting to see such a cave and the explanation was very good.
