An excellent beercafe just a little bit off the main track, but once there, you will see that this is a truly gem of a place. Especially if you are after some good beers. Visited this place with a group of 10 beerclub-members from Norway...More

This Belgium Pub is 100 years old and still the best in Town! Only for a drink, best a beer, ask the owner to his suggestion, it's like wine how he can talk and advice.

De Penge is everything what I expect from a good bar: I can go there and I'll just say what kind of beer I want to drink, Mark will make some suggestions and you'll have a great tasting of something new.

This pub has a good choice of Belgian "and" foreign beers. The interior is mostly kept as it was usual in the early 1900's in the labourers communities surrounding the factories in that period. The pub is about 120 years old and named after what...More

This is indeed the oldest pub in Turnhout, where you can drink an excellent lager "Cristal Alken". Moreover, it is the place in the wide surroundings where you can taste a variety of the most exquisite beers, of which some can't be found anywhere else.

De Penge is the oldest pub in my hometown, some 120 years old. The owner, Marc Moonen, is a real beer-sommelier. He can let you taste the most incredible beers, from all over the world. But his standard 'lager' draft Cristal is my favourite. At...More

Well the beer is awesome having a great variety, the music is perfect and the atmosphere is pleasant. The bartender/owner can help you pick the beer. He's a nice guy. Don't miss if you're in Turnhout!
