This house is the birthplace of Lokmanya Tilak. There is a lot of information displayed on Tilak. Various photos of the Tilak family and some belongings of the family. A nice place to visit.

Bal Gangadhar Tilak birth place. A old Konkani house converted in a museum. No entry fees. No photography allowed. Not more about history, it's just have some old stuffs and photographs. It's good to visit the place. 30 minutes can be spend in the premises...More

This is a house in Ratnagiri where great Indian freedom fighter Lokmany Bal Gandhar Tilak spent his childhood.We were very happy and felt lucky to witness this house. Amazing experience.

Located at Ratnagiri town area, amidst residential buildings, a red colour konkani styled home, significant as the birthplace of freedom fighter Tilak. If you are at ratnagiri, do pay a visit and appreciate his role in our freedom

The museum houses late Tilaks memorabilia. It was here Tilakji grew up and lived there for some time. The house is nicely maintained by the Authorities. Any one is interested in India's freedom movement should visit here.

Malvani masala, kokam and garam masala u can find this items all the time in year and best quality and cheaper than Mumbai.
