So you pay €7 to walk around a rusty graveyard of excavators, nothing is in English, everything is locked so you can’t have a nose around which is a shame. Not somewhere I would visit again

You can see the huge machines from the Autobahn A38. It's impressive to walk under them, good opportunity for pictures. There are panels explaining how the lignite mining took place. Take the opportunity to walk a bit and see what a beautifull recreational lakes have...More

Must see especially if you are engineer :) Good stop near the autobahn with easy access and free parking, so if you want to make a break and stretch your legs this is good place to stop.
