Took a drive up the (scary) road to this ski field. Didn't ski but looked to be a fun place to do so. Probably more aimed at intermediate skiers - worth the drive even if just to play in the snow..More

Thanks for the kind comments - not sure if you went to Mt Lyford or Hanmer? Both fields have a "nutcracker rope tow" which does take a little while to get used to. Our Poma tow at Hanmer is the longest Poma tow in NZ...More
