Visited the Girraween National Park in March 2018 while staying in nearby Lodges. An all-round excellent experience. Visited the Granite Marbles and hiked along creeks and climbed the granite hills. Worthwhile.

Had a good time doing several of the walks, not a great information centre but staff very helpful. Plenty of bbq’s at the day use area and swimming hole close by. Well worth the drive.

Girraween is an awesome national park just outside Stanthorpe, near the wineries of Ballendean. It has to be one of the best national park walks anywhere, especially the climbs up the pyramid and castle rock.

Very steep top half of climb. Didn't make it to the very top, as it started to sprinkle. Previously warned not to climb in the wet and realised why!

We enjoyed our visit and walk to the Arch. The paths are well maintained. Springtime and the flowers are out. You can camp at the camping grounds or just visit for the day.

The hot water in the showers are set on a 3 minute timer then cut out. There is no hot water in the wash up area, just cold. Hope this helps.
