Marvelous morning spent at this natural wonder with the obligatory silly hat that saved me from certain cranial damage at least twice. Knowledgable and excitable guide Tracie led us chirpilly into the darkness as the stream rushed beneath the grating on which we walked. It's...More

After visiting these caves 30 years ago with my parents I thought it was time to take my own family to white scar. The caves have been extended since my last visit! We all enjoyed the tour. There are 2 sections where you have to...More

This was our first time here and it was excellent. We were all well prepared for the walk and the bending down - there are plenty of warnings and they tell you again before you start, as well as ginving you a hard hat (which...More

The story of the cave helps bring it to life and the twisty, up and down route keeps things moving along nicely. Yes its a cave, with the things you would expect and some interesting rock formations. The visit doesn't drag and you have to...More

We went on the first tour this morning. Free parking and you buy a ticket 5mins before your tour starts. You have to wear a hard hat and bumping your head is part of the course, some very low ceilings and you have to stoop....More

There's a free car park here. They give you a hard hat at the start of the tour and you certainly need it! You will need a certain level of physical fitness but most people should be ok. You have to walk whilst bending over,...More

My husband visited the cavern as a child and remembered it being a good place to visit. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I had visited a few caves before, but White Scar was not only a cave that took you deep inside, but the back...More

Great tour guide very interesting talk explaining the history of the cave. It blows your mind to realise how long it takes to form the stalagmites etc. 80 minutes is just the right amount of time to see it all and if tall like me...More

We turned up just as it was getting ready to open for the day, and there were a few people already there before us. We paid £20.75 for the two adults, and we had Pete as our tour guide. You get given a hard hat...More

Im not sure about a wait as there was a tour starting as we arrived, and it was the last tour of the afternoon- takes about an hour and a quarter. It says on their web site first tour at 10 am and last at 4pm.
