This is such a great place. We visited on the May bank hol when the weather was gorgeous. It wasn’t too crammed to enjoy, the water was heated and it was a great, cheap, afternoon activity for the kids and parents. They enjoyed it so much we booked again for 2 days later. There is even a little cafe you can get a cuppa from to watch the kids play!

I turned up at 10am for a cold water session and had the pool to myself for the first ten minutes. It was 15 degrees and felt wonderful. Neoprene gloves and bootees made a comfortable difference and I managed 30 lengths.
It was a wonderful experience to be back in the pool where I learnt to swim as a child. Planning on going again next Saturday.
Highly recommended

Great place after a walk at nearby Ribblehead viaduct. Friendly and relaxed staff and simple set up- booking online helps with avoiding disappointment on busy days and knowing it will never get too busy! Even provided spare shorts for our son who forgot to pack some!

This is amazing community asset for what has always been one of my favourite villages to visit going back over 35 years.

We visited as a family after making a spur of the moment decision in buying swimsuits locally.

We paid £26 for two adults and two under 11’s only to be required to leave the pool after 30 minutes in the pool.

What transpired after was beyond a farce with local members inviting us to stay in the pool with rude staff and management on the phone demanding we leave immediately.

I would love to say we will return but until the attitude of staff improves alas it’s a no.

It’s a shame as it’s a wonderful place.

A wonderful pool but incredibly inexperienced and rude staff, great lack of organisation and any kind of visible timetable of what is happening daily and no verbal information given. Visited while on holiday and incredibly disappointed, even a regular member advised that what is on the website is no reflection of what is actually occurring weekly. Wouldn't recommend at all and spend your time on better things to do in Ingleton.

Clean warm and not too busy in this friendly pool very impressed such a pretty riverside setting and the water is so pure, no smell of chlorine. Less impressed at the traffic leeches that operate in the village enforcing one hour parking ..clearly wait and watch for people to park for the pool and come back seconds after the hour is up ticket ready printed. No wonder shops and services are dying . Be warned ! Park a bit further away where its free unlimited on residential streets. There's logic there somewhere!

I was blown away by this Lido - totally outstanding. I was spotlessly clean, organised with the entry and cleaning. I felt safe, and comfortable. The community take great pride in keeping this Lido clean and well kept. Thank you and we will be back!!

After being a local for many years, this pool has started to go down hill. I went a few days ago and you had 15 minutes in and 15 minutes out on repeat. I payed full price for 2 hours swim and only got half the swim i payed for.

I do not understand why the don't have a members only session for the locals and then a session for tourists. I pay £15 for a membership and only used it once because of the ques, I had been waiting 3 hours to get in. I went at 1:00 to get in the 2:00 session and the que was already massive, i waited for the 4:30 and never got in again.

Not to mention the staff, abusolutely rude.

Not very pleased on how this has become over the years. Very run down.

And there is no point in the splash zone being created as it is only going to be for 3 months a year. The money could be used for a better purpose.
E.g retracting roof, babies area, inflatables etc.

Extremely appalling.

Lovely little outdoor pool with friendly staff. The changing facilities are small but perfectly adequate for the number of visitors and very clean. To spectate only costs £1 and there is plenty of space to watch the pool and a small shop that sells drinks and snacks. The pool itself is very clean and never too crowded, although they run a band system it was never used while we were there. The water is beautifully warm and outstandingly clean. The pool is suitable for all ages with clearly marked shallow and deep ends. We came here twice over the duration of our holiday and would definitely have returned more if we had time.

We’re on holiday with two teenagers and the need to swim is high on the list (3rd in fact behind wifi and food!). We’ve travelled a fair distance to get here and weren’t initially aware that it was an outdoor pool. The pool is immaculately clean, tidy and in a good state of repair. The water is warm and we’ve sat in the spectator’s end, which is shaded by open-sided marquee. The poolside building serves snacks and drinks. We felt that admission (£5 Adult, £3.50 child & £1 to spectate) was very reasonable. What a fab facility for the Ingleton locals to have 😊
