A charming little beach, hidden away in the cliffs of a very picturesque area. Stop at the parking and walk around the cliffs and forests surrounding the area, there are stunning views along the way. The beach and water are rocky but clean, refreshing and great for relaxing. Avoid the crowded and dirty central beach and explore the surrounding bays.

The calanques of Port D’Alon are spectacular. Great for a house rental and several day stay, the calanques of Port d’Alon offer relaxing summer vibes with refreshing and crystalline water and beautiful sunsets; excellent to spend quality time with friends and family.

Just beautiful views, picnic and hiking area. At the beach were too many dogs and they were kept free. Owners didn’t collect dog’s poos away, be careful where you step! There was also not very good cafe/restaurant at the beach. It was not for foreigners at all.

Today we explored Calanques de port d'Alon and we loved it enough to stay from 1pm till 8pm in the evening. The snorkeling was good even when the water was a bit messy because of broken seagrass. We saw anenomy, parrot fish, red seastars, sea- urchin, sea-cucumber, many different big and small fish (too much to describe here). Compared to some other sites, this beach is easier to access because it is a gradual drop from the shore, waves were low (waves made on these shores are generally caused by boats) and if you are early or very late you can park at the beach. We didnt pay for parking, because we parked at the side of the road like the locals. From there it was a 15 minutes walk/hike to the beach. The beach was full but we like to sit on the rocks facing the afternoon sun (on left facing the water). Tip: Bring lunch/dinner, snorkeling gear and something soft to sit on. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Very nice place to sit, but too many dogs in the water to have a proper swim! We went for a walk down the hill which was beautiful, the beach afterwards was a bit disappointing..
