One of the natural wonders of Corsica is the Restonica valley. A must see when visiting the region. Drive all the way up to the paid car park at the end of the valley and hike/climb to one or both of the lakes to enjoy...More

We were staying in Corte so were fairly close but even then there were many cars that were already parked up. You pay 6 euro for tihsi pleasure. The road is single track for quite a way and falls away steeply on either side but...More

We did not have time for the hike to the lake but wanted to see the valley and appreciate the landscape. So we drove the 15km to the upper parking and walked around and stopped in with some of the locals who have set up...More

Very rocky trail, need good footwear, and courage for the chains and ladders near the top. Very popular walk, so pleased we did it in October when not crowded. The drive up is beautiful too.

Stunning views from the start. I can't recommend this trail enough. But the road to the car park for the lakes was for me, absolutely terrifying- your typical mountain route- no barriers, some blind bends, and only enough room for 1 vehicle. It's absolutely worth...More

Important is to get on the trail very early. Dont waste time on the first lake and go directly do the higher one- swimming and sunbathing is absolutely perfect there. Trail is quite adventurous :)

Beautifull! We made a whole day round way excursion with 6 year old girl : Parking, Lago di Melo, Lago di Capitelu, Bocca di Soglia, Parking. In my opinion it is the best option, for sure better than going just up and down to Lago...More

it was on the road, the road was totally inaccessible... but you can still enjoy a walk along the river if you stop at the bridge.
