Stunning in its simplicity. Clean, airy and very light inside, despite relatively short windows. The stonework is painted but as stone. All very fresh and new looking. Even the apse and altar are kept simple. Very relaxing atmosphere.

It's a beautiful, majestic, elegant, awe-inspiring building - it's worth spending a quiet moment here and reading its history if you're in town.

The Cathedral of St Maurice is close to the town square and worth a visit. It was built in the 13th century and features beautiful paintings in a solemn atmosphere.
