In time, when we visited the church, the interior was in reconstruction and everywhere was a lit of dust. We could see some paintings,which were outstanding. If the reconstruction will be finally done, it must be a beautiful church.

When in Sozopol one should definitely stop by this church because of its connection to John the Baptist, its central location and its elegant beauty.
