in the middle of nowhere near Spean Bridge. This monument to the RM Commando training school is fascinating. With the nearby Commando museum a great visit for anyone interested in the war.

This memorial has commandos looking out at Ben Nevis. It is set in a beautiful area. To one side is a further memorial at which family members can leave personal messages and memories of former commandos. This is a wonderful memorial.

A very fitting monument and in the perfect setting. The Memorial Garden is very poignant and serves to remind visitors that our Forces are still giving their lives to project our way of life.

We visited memorial when we went to Fort William and Ben Nevis. It's located near road A82 and big parking was there. Typically memorial for soldiers who fought in WW2.

Set in an impressive and contextually significant locale, this is a major feature of the area. In its simplicity and understatement it is most effective as a Memorial and tribute. Within ready access from Fort William. Easy off road parking.

This memorial is located on the A82 north east of Fort William and is worth a stop to reflect on the men who fought in WW2 and give thanks to them here in this beautiful, tranquil setting overlooking Ben Nevis if the weather is nice....More

It' slightly uphill from the car park, but if she takes it slowly and has help she should be ok. Failing that, the monument is fully visible from the car park.
