Micropubs. They're great. Cosy little spaces you couldn't swing a cat in selling a small selection of local ales and maybe some wine. Whilst this place is referred to as a micropub it's anything but. Plenty of space for the swinging of an entire clowder...More

Good to see a Micropub attracting younger folk enjoying the extensive real ale and cider range. I sometimes, as an older drinker, feel rejuvenated on a visit here. Part of the attraction here is that it feels a bit disorganised and seating is at a...More

I really love it here. Every time I visit something else has been done, the interior gets cosier, the ale gets better and now I hear they're going to brew their own can't wait to try it. Well done guys!, Medway desperately needs more genuinely...More

From the laid back owner to the nice, friendly people who come in this is my kind of place. The definition of shabby chic, ale is excellent I had a plumb porter and I here they're brewing their own soon. Just wish they did food.

A really nice atmosphere and the service has always been top notch, especially from Tim who's been great at finding and adding vegan-friendly drinks to the board, and labeling everything well! All bar snacks are veeg too, I believe. A really good place to hang...More

Friendly, unpretentious, quality ale at affordable prices. Always have a good night and laugh whenever I visit would have to say my favourite Medway pub.

Friendly, welcoming and fun with great music and a lovely atmosphere. A fresh twist on the micropub concept. Great selection of ales and ciders. My favourite pub in Rochester!

There's an attractive unfinished slightly ramshackle ambiance about the place. With the Flipping Frog along the road, there's a chance to build something special in the old High Street between Rochester and Chatham. I like the reference to sailors, as this part of Medway would...More

Only went once and the upperty barmen would not allow my vape machine even in an empty micropub. Being honest the beer was very good, decor was quirky but not very comfortable as it was to low drank up quickly and left for the Flip.
