One day when there was a rare bit of cloud in the sky and a cooling northerly breeze from the Aegean this is an interesting place to visit and imagine the athletes of yesteryear. There is a bus available but we preferred the exercise.

There is no fees to visit the ancient town of Rhodes. It will take a car to get there. It was beautiful and my family of 10 ranging in ages from 12 to 61 loved it! It is something you should plan on visiting!

You can either drive here, and it is a stop on the hop on hop off bus tours. Best of all, it is free. That's right, you can start off getting fairly close to the remains of the Temple of Apollo and the surrounding grounds....More
