We enjoyed the short hike through the forrest and ended up at the natural pool where we swimmed and it was great. Definitely worth the extra few dollars.

The waterfall is not what the name implies in Spanish. Yeah it’s a waterfall but it was not spectacular by any means. The forest was beautiful. Btw if you drive there the street sign for this attraction simply reads “El Macho” & nothing about El...More

We hesitated to go here because of some of the scathing reviews but we were very glad we did. We spent about an hour there exploring the paths. It's not a hilke - think of it more like going round a park or botanical garden...More

We paid the $5 to get in. It is worth the money. Trail is well maintained and the waterfall was beautiful even near the end of dry season. They give you walking sticks to use. Easy trail and maybe 10 minutes to the waterfall.

Nothing special. Really short hike that is nothing special also. Was disappointed. Keep going up the road and there is a much better hike that goes to the top of the mountain.

The view is great, but you don't get to the waterfalls, just a viewpoint. I was hoping for a hike of some sort, but it literally was a 5 minute loop back to the entrance. I am giving 4 stars because of all the conservation...More

This is a short (15 minute) hike on a well groomed trail to a 35 meter waterfall. We did not see many animals but we really enjoyed the peaceful energy of the place.

Great little trek through the rainforest to the waterfall. It's a fairly easy walk, not too taxing. (there is a longer trek for those feeling more energetic) Nice natural pool at the end of the trail that you can swim in.

Don't expect a hike to get there. It is a very small guided path, though a bit of rain forest. We paid 5$ per person to enter the place, and maybe stayed..30min ? In the end it was expensive, and we wouldn't go again for...More

As previous ppl mentioned, this is merely a river as you would find at every corner of Central America. And it’s just laughable that they want you to pay to access the river ... come on, Panama, go see how parks are managed elsewhere in...More

It is up to the workers that are on staff to make this available. If you feel inclined to give them a tip, this would help the situation and make it possible to bring in your dog.
