Caves are surrounded by jungles. Please make sure you have comfortable shoes before going into this walk . This one is free of cost;one can experiences bushes, rocks and caves around the walk

Yes, it took us 2.5 hours from near Auckland airport to the caves. This was in a motorhome and driving steadily.
