Firstly it is expensive, double what you pay in mainland Brazil for everything and accommodation and eating out are no great shakes so not great value. Secondly be organized. It matters when you go. Tides, swell and visibility can make or break your trip. Some...More

First, you have to pay to enter the island, then to enter the national park within the island, and we are talking hundreds of dollars per head. Accommodations are not too expensive but the rest is: food, diving, car rentals.... It might be the best...More

Breathtaking beaches, sunrise and sunsets. Clear blue water and intense marine life great for snorkeling or scuba diving. Locals are very nice and it's a super safe place. Just prepare your pockets, everything costs way higher then a big city.

If you want to do the trails, try to get to the Park kiosk in Vila dos Remedios the first day you are on the island. If it is high season , the open spots fill in fast.

Great place to visit, the waters are clear, you can see turtles and colorful fish using snorkle, there is good food and there is plenty of guidance and suggestions for tourists to enjoy the best the island has to offer.
