We were going to drive up to the trailhead but the gate was still locked for the season (March 30,2018)....so we hiked up. Loooong hike up switchback paved road, took about 45 minutes. We did stop at a few of the benches on the way...More

Great way to spend a morning in Summerland. Hiking trails for the more advanced, a road up to the view point for those mobility challenged, walk up the road from the lower parking lot for a less advanced, scenic route.

Been climbing this mountain since the mid 1970's... Always an enjoyable hike... take along a friend & a picnic lunch. I can easily to spend a few hours wandering around the top. Beautiful lake and valley views

Well worth the hike or drive to the peak of this scenic outlook. It's a splendid view of the Okanagan, from Penticton to Peachland. AWESOME!

a drive to a parking lot near the summit made this do-able. It is amazing to think of volcanic structures in the Rockies.

Had a great day hiking up Giant's Head, a little smoky today from the fires and the gate is closed. Will go back on a clear day for sure!

A must see in Summerland. Terrific panoramic views back to Penticton. A crazy narrow winding road up is also part of the experience!
