We stopped by Foul Bay while visiting the island on a cruise. We rented a car and checked out 8 different beaches on the island. Foul Bay was one of our favorites! We prefer to spend time at secluded beaches with beautiful views and Foul Bay was perfect for us. We only saw a few other people while we were at this beach. We were able to find a nice shaded area to set up our travel hammock. We visited during surf season so the waves in the area were a little too rough for us. Another fabulous beach so unspoilt and beautiful, there are chickens and monkeys down there too. It’s just a shame about the road down, great big potholes and quite a worry when you’re in a hire car, coming up is worse, such a pity something isn’t done about it and fixed. No sunloungers for hire, but sand is like icing sugar so towels are sufficient, worth visiting hopefully they will fix the road soon .…

A remote beach accessible by car with easy parking. We visited a few years ago and while it maintains most of its magic, there is an increase in plastics on the beach. Don’t let it stop you going because the views are fabulous. By all means take a bag and collect some plastic like we did and we can all make a difference by removing a bag at a time …
