We were on a Marianist pilgrimage and this was one of the stops. The resident priest spoke English and gave insight to the history and cheerfully answered questions. We went in mid October so it wasn't very crowded. You have to descend down some stairs...More

Came here to view the remains of Mary Magdalene which were in the crypt and quite hard to make out behind a screen. The Basilica was beautiful and well worth a visit if you are in the area

Well worth the effort if you are fairly fit. The 45min.walk up to the cave is challenging but once you get to the cave .... my word, what an experience. Really gets you thinking, you do not need to be religious to be impressed ......More

Only accessible via 2km uphill walk. Great views and a very interesting church. We arrived (by chance) just before the 11am service - worth doing.
