Lee Plaza is a really great place to shop. Much more variety than the Robinson Place. What Lee Plaza is not is a good place to park your car. It sits right in the middle of Dumaguete City and the traffic is horrible. LP does have some parking in the garage under the building, but in busy times there is no room so I end up at Robinson. It's too bad becuse I really prefer the shopping at Lee Plaza over Robinson. Lee Plaza's sister store,, Hypermart, is just outside the city but is mainly groceries. Hypermart's parking is often even more insane than Lee Plaza's

I'll definitely come back here when I get the chance to go back to Dumaguete. The sales attendants were very pleasant. They have some many items. Too bad the store closes at 7:30PM. There were so many floors to explore.

This is an old building that still attracts hordes of customers. After all, almost everything can be purchased here. The grocery store downstairs carries many staples and imported goods (as does Lee's Hypermart on the Dumaguete-Valencia road).
In many ways, Lee Plaza is better for deals than in the much newer Robinson's mall, partly because it carries much more stock over every kind, and has fewer pretensions about what is part of the new mall culture. If SM ever comes to the city, both Robinsons and Lee's operations will feel the impact, but the central location of Lee Plaza is still where people go for other things.
Lee Plaza. Somewhat run down now, but still very much functional.
Oh yes, good coffee and buns in the downstairs cafe, as well as decent coffee beans to take home.

We went there. The place has poor ambiance outside, so many people sitting on the entrance selling and forcing you to buy whatever they are selling.

This is probably one of the oldest malls in Dumaguete but I absolutely love it. I am from Australia but whenever I visit Dumaguete this is one of my malls of choice.
It has some really great fashion bargains and modern styles. If you are a tourist and want to check out some really cheap clothing, this is the place to do it!
It has a food court right at the top level and has a view of the harbour.
Don't expect anything to look too polished, it does have signs of age but the contents of the building is still up to par. Have a look if you are ever in town and like to have a bit of a shop!

Located in the heart of Dumaguete City's dowtown area. This 5 story building humbles to be the oldest mall in town. Newly renovated to fit more businesses, this mall offers things not found in Robinson's place Dumaguete. I would agree on the fact that there are more options here than on the other malls.
Basement 1 is composed of hardware, plastic furniture, and electronics area.
Basement 2 consists of the supermarket area, 8 wonders travel, small food stalls, Merci (Filipino delicacies), drugstore (Rose Pharmacy), winery, coffee shop (Lee Cimbali) and some atms. (BPI & LandBank)
1ST FLOOR offers Red Ribbon, school supplies, bags & luggages, perfumes & cosmetics, eye-wear, Shop-in-shops (Watson's, Watchmen, Wonderbox, James Innovation, Galleon Ent., Cellworks), Hi-Top Newstand, and a dental clinic.
2ND FLOOR has Nike, Adidas, Folded & Hung, Levi's, Dickies, Bench, Sketchers, Sperry, Sports Equipment and outdoor recreation and men's clothing,
3RD FLOOR is basically for women teens or adults, rtw, jeans, Bayo, jewelries, accessories, women footwear, and children's clothing and furniture.
4TH FLOOR mainly consists for household supplies; mainly houseware, home decors, linen & fabric, souvenirs, artificial plants, bridal registry, gift wrapping counter, beddings & bath, and custom framing.
5TH FLOOR is where food avenue fastfood, children's playroom (Village Playgroup Center), Toyland and WOF (World of Fun) are located.
Comfort rooms are located on the 2nd floor at the far right corner of Sports Equipment area, 3rd Floor and 5th floor beside the children's playroom.
There are no elevators but escalators are present from 2nd, 3rd, & 4th floor.
Place will get a bit crowded especially on Holidays. Happy Shopping!

It is hard to find anything to buy in the Philippines. You normally have to bring everything with you when you travel here. Dumaguete only has 150,000 people, but shopping for a Philippine town of a million. If you need life vests, snorkels, fins, aqua shoes, local t-shirts, sports gear, toys for your kids, kids party costumes, cheap inflatables for the pool, rubber kick balls, bathing suits, flipflops (slippers) and hats. The food store is first rate and includes a Red Ribbon Bakery. It has an upscale Watson pharmacy. It has a Filipino type food court on the top floor and a western style bakery type cafe in the basement (it's packed). It has a large choice of western brand backpacks and cheap taiwan backpacks. It has large selection of sunglasses in all price ranges. These items do not have the huge markups of the malls. The prices were much cheaper than the Mall of Asia in Manila.

Shopping which include groceries, department store, coffee shop, bakery and even hardware in one place strategically located in the center of Dumaguete City, a true one stop shop. The product selections were quite enormous and the prices were reasonable. What I liked about the place is LeeCimbali coffee shop in the basement because you can relax or wait for your shopping companions and even select some delicious pastries from the bakeshop beside it. I keep coming back even for just the coffee shop since their hot and cold drinks are just priced between 30 to 50 pesos but the taste and presentation were comparable to many popular coffee shops. Lee Plaza is walking distance to Rizal Boulevard, San Rival Cakes and Pastries, Silliman University, churches and many restaurant, shops and hotels. You don't have to get far to do your shopping.

My sister, cousin and friends went to shop and when we were passing the detector to leave the premises, it sounded during my cousin's turn. Everybody was already out, so I went back inside. They brought her to a counter and ask her to remove all the things inside her bag. She did so. After bringing out all her personal effects, the detector still sounded. They said, that it might have been something inside the lining of the bag. They were apologetic the whole time. I give that to them, but I guess, the detector was faulty which led to a very embarrassing moment for us!!!
