randomadventurer13 is correct that there is about a block leaving the gated, sanitized port area where you are aggressively approached by several people offering tours, rides and even marijuana. However, you can quickly move past by saving no firmly and keep walking. Don't Stop.
A Royal Caribbean built/owned port. Very well done with ample shopping and dining choices. If you want the true flavor of Jamaica you must leave the port area.
Lot’s of music, food, street vendors and clean restrooms. This is a beautiful port area.

We also visited as part of the Heritage food tour. I'd definitely go back on my own. The bread is hot and fresh. Watch out for the meat-stew filling - hot! Heat hot.

We did not spend a lot of time here, but this area has a great history of the water flow used for the area, as well as some small shops you can shop. Good for a pass through visit but not an all day area.
