Enjoyable peaceful place to hide from the urban noise. Many wooden benches to sit and enjoy the sun in case you are tired. May be nothing extraordinary but a very pleasant experience overall.

This is actually small viewing platform with wooden path leading to it. Place looks best in bad weather, when it is stormy, heavy huge clouds, or alternatively - picturesque sunsets. Bring good camera. During calm and sunny day view will be nice but not that...More

Really like this area not crowded like some of the other beachs in Latvia. Nice to walk on the soft sand watching the waves come in. Want a quiet place to enjoy the sea then this is a good place.

A dune. Not big, not special. The promenade walkway is vert nice, in the forest, near the dune, leading to town center. The entrance is in the south of town.

This place is located outside Riga in the Saulkrasti area. Basically its called in Latvian as "Balta Kapa" which is for White Dune. It's very nice place to visit if you happen to drive near by or if you like out of city "nature" tourism....More

At winter a little bit cold experience. Though, nice views at the sea is worth it. There is parking place for a car and facilities as well.
