Came back to see this because I felt guilty that I didn’t see it the first time and I’m glad I did. It is gorgeous. Water is cold but once you jump in and get on with it than it’s all good. We rented push...More

I visited all three of the Blue Lagoons and this was by far the busiest, being closest to Vang Vien. The lagoon itself is small compared to the others too, which makes the overcrowding worse. It is definitely not a relaxing experience. The only saving...More

Super crowded like everyone says and write. But if you wanna go to the cave walk through and climb up! It’s worth it. 10000 kip entrance. Walk through the blue lagoon 1 and climb up. If there is enough sun you don’t need the flashlight...More

It gets overwhelming crowded towards the afternoon as many tour groups are likely to end the day tour at Blue Lagoon 1. Go if it's your first time there because that's what everyone in Vang Vieng is talking about if you're looking to go Blue...More

We expected some beautiful piece of nature with a nice Blue Lagoon in it. HOWEVER when we arrived at the big parking (around 10AM), we could already see a lot of people and hear some screaming and shouting. We already paid the 10k kip each...More

Not one for the faint hearted! The stairway (if you can call it that?) from the lagoon to the cave entrance is almost vertical. I nearly died when I originally saw it! The climb took some great effort. The handrails are not the best thing...More

My wife and I hired a buggy to go visit this and Blue Lagoon 3. The Blue Lagoon was already busy once we arrived (around 9), so we made our way up the mountain to check out the cave. Proper choice of footwear is essential,...More

After reading that Blue Lagoon was overcrowded and full group tourists I did not expect much from it. Yes, there was a crowd around the tree that you can jump from but the other end was very quiet. Had a refreshing swim both before and...More

It's a great disappointment that the water is not what has been described as blue lagoon. Water is muddy full green colour.

We've cycled it in about 20-25minute I think. It's a pretty quick ride but we have our own touring bikes. I guess it depends on the rental if that's what you're using! It's a fun ride, worth it!
