- I booked and fully paid surf package (lessons+accomodation - single studio). Upon arriving sigrisurf told me that I booked a shared studio! Though My booking confirmation clearly stated “private single room”. They were pushing me to pay about 1/3 more as accomodated me in a bigger studio (they simply didn’t have a single studio for me) giving hundred reasons why it’s me who have to pay... I wouldn’t reccomend to book an accomodation with them. Sigri is a tiny village with few tourists, you can easily get a room via locals upon arrival. This will be cheaper by the way. + Wsurf course is fine - lots of sea urchins

We spent 11 days in the probably more quite spot we've ever been. The best is the crew, absolutely helpful and friendly, and the equipment (Tabu Gastra) like brand new. The wind is offshore, not my favorite, and therefore flat water. When the wind is strong you can sail all the way to the island but if not better to stay in the freestyle corner. Nice place where we come back for surf and relax.

Second year at Sigri and Sigri Surf. Still perfect conditions, nice wind, very helpfull crew. In case of a few surfers, they give you useful tips. Interessting, I did not see any refugees on our way to Sigri, even in Mytilini there were no one. If you are searching for a litte nice greek village in a bay and perferct surf and kite conditions, go to Sigri.

We went to Greece for an island-hopping tour and started our trip in Sigri. We got our arrangements (accommodation, pick up etc.) directly from the surf center. We brought with our own Kite-Equipment and booked storage as well. And the storage is really worth the money, because you can use the facilities and SUPs at the surf center and you get a daily transfer to a private Kite-Surf-Beach by boat or car. The kite surf spot itself has perfect conditions for rookies (mostly side shore and sandy beach) and for advanced drivers as well (waves up to 1.5m are possible outside the bay and there is a secret and awesome freestyle-arena with Caribbean flair). In general, they have a rescue boat at the spot, especially when rookies go out for a ride. So if you need one, you are always safe (included in the storage package as well). There are some more spots to check out, for example for wave riders or a down-winder from the surf center to the kite spot. The kite surf instructor Geri is one of the best I´ve ever met through my kite-seasons. All students I talked to where highly satisfied and get succeeded drivers. He always helps with any problems you have (p.e. kite-repair) and gives you a lot of advice to improve your kite skills. The surf center is well managed and it feels like being in a family. If you like, you can take part on a dinner get together twice a week. And if there is no wind, there is always something to do. Due to our comfortable and familiar feeling in this surf center and region we decided to come back after a one-week-trip to Limnos for another two weeks. Well done guys. Keep on doing!
