It's beautiful, but paved for the majority of the way. Which can be a problem for those with plantars fascitis or joint issues. A lot of the trails in and out of the valley are paved.

A nice easy going stroll amongst a great vista of hills and rocks. If the feet get hot , paddle in the cool waters of the river. In short , this walk will impress you.

Bike or foot, this is one of the most beautiful trails for any ability. We visited in the spring and the wildlife was abundant. Remember to just stop and take it all in; you'll see so much more

We took the shorter version of this trail, but still were able to enjoy the meadows, cliffs and scenery all along the way. The route that we took was an easy trail, but well worth doing.

Nice stroll through the Valley Floor with lots to see. Pack a lunch and have a wander through the park. Don't rush and enjoy yourself.

We hiked the north side one day. Biked south side another day. Lower Yosemite Falls to Anwahnee Hotel to Yosemite Village has slight incline the beginning, steeper decline toward Anwahnee. Lunch in Church Bowl is shaded with restrooms. Beautiful photo op at Swinging Bridge. Slight...More

Evergreen Lodge is OUTSIDE of Yosemite National Park. It's about an hour drive to Yosemite Valley. Ask your questions on the Yosemite forum where many folks will be able to reply.
