    Get close to these falls.
This was an enjoyable walk through the trees. The walk doesn’t take to long and there are a lot of people. In the spring, the falls were pretty full. We went off the beaten path to get close to the waterfall and to feel the most. I would highly recommend that.

Magnificent Waterfall with Wonderful Hike and Great Views
Yosemite Falls is a lovely and long waterfall. One can see it from the valley floor on the Lower Yosemite Falls trail, a gentle walk at the base, but there is also a great hike up to the top of Yosemite Falls, the Yosemite Falls trail. It provides great views and lots of exercise because it includes long stretches of uphill hiking. The trail is good and mostly easy aside from the uphill climb. It can get crowded, though, but there are also great views just partway up, such as at Columbia Rock. Bring water and allow plenty of time if you want to do the whole thing. Otherwise, you can get a good experience just part way up or even just seeing it from the base in the paved walking area near parking and restrooms.

    Father’s Day Gold 2023
The most incredible National Park I’ve yet to visit. Given this was a Father’s Day gift to myself, I made the tip solo. A word of caution, driving up the mountain just to get gif park entrance is a bit daunting. I’ve never driven such narrow hairpin turns in my life. Drive very carefully. The way down is a bit easier as your on the inside lane, next to the mountain. Use those peripherals real well. And make a stop at Chinese Camp. I was able to sang my first gold nugget and Richard, owner of the shop who runs it with his family, is a plethora knowledge about gold in the area and knows everyone and everything around it.

    August treat
When I booked an August trip I wasn't expecting to see Yosemite falls as they are typically dry by then, but record 2023 winter snow meant the falls were still in flow and I was lucky enough to have the flow boosted by rain from Storm Hilary. There are many ways of experiencing the falls - you can see them from short flat trails at Cooks Meadow or from Swinging Bridge, or get a closer view of the lower falls on the Lower Yosemite Falls trail. You can see them from distance across the valley from Glacier Point, Taft Point, Panorama Point etc. You can of course do the challening Upper Yosemite Falls trail - if the whole trail isn't on your agenda then you can walk just over an hour up the trail (15-20 mins beyond Columbia Rock) to get a good view of the upper falls with Half Dome behind. Whichever way, these are an impressive set of high falls when in good flow. We were lucky to see what we saw in August.

Breathtaking! Never been so close to one. Be prepared for wind and water. It was packed with visitors. So much fun! Stay there for a while in the bridge

Yosemite Falls are beautiful. They are composed of the Upper Yosemite Fall and the Lower Yosemite Fall. The hike to the lower fall is relatively easy. Hiking the upper fall is very challenging. We were in awe looking at these falls. This is one of the must see sights in Yosemite.

This year after the rain fall and snow pack the falls are running heavy which makes for some awesome sights around the park. You can hear and feel the power of the flow. Just amazing

We visited on May 16, with amazing waterfalls, spectacular! It’s quite easy to walk to the lowest falls to be able to see all 3 sections, lovely!

We didn't do the hike having done Vernal and Nevada Falls. From the valley floor and in the fall season, there is nothing more than evidence of there being a waterfall.

I imagine in the spring and early summer with the snow melt that it is a sight to behold.
