Small Falls near South Entrance
Jul 2021
These falls are located just inside the South Entrance before you get to Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin. There is a pull off and a short trail to get a better view of the falls. Overall, nothing special, especially when compared to some of the other falls in the park.

Beautiful Falls
Sep 2020
This was a quick stop because the falls are located right along the highway.

Great views looking to the other side of the road as well.

Delightful

Like Moose Falls, I usually drive past this attraction on a one day tour. Yellowstone needs at less three days just to see its highlights. Thankfully you can can a glimpse of this one as you drive by but if you stop to enjoy it you will be rewarded.

Beautiful falls

Thus is a powerful falls right off the road surrounded by lush wetlands and a meandering river flatlands. Prime spot for wildlife viewing at dawn and dusk.

First Falls entering from South gate
Aug 2019 • Family
Lewis Falls is the first thing that caught our eyes entering the park from Grand Teton via the south gate. We did not spend much time here as we had a busy afternoon ahead, including the Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic basin. We found many onlookers have stopped on the road to enjoy the beauty of the Falls with streams of water falling through the rocks. A wonderful photo op. Driving further north on US 191, Old Faithful geyser will be sixty to ninety minutes away, as I recall. But there are few sharp turns on the mountainous road shortly after the falls. And yes, it is a good idea to use the very clean rest rooms at the Grand Teton welcome center, which is just few minutes before the Yellowstone park’s south entrance. Once you enter the park, bathroom facilities head dramatically south.

Nice waterfall
Jun 2019 • Family
I would not go out of my way to see it, but it's a nice waterfall on the south entrance road. Good stop for pictures. If you park on the south side of the falls, walk over the bridge back to the north to view the whole thing as it is somewhat horseshoe shaped.
Be careful the traffic speeding by. It seems no one slows down.

Neither a large nor special one
Jul 2018 • Family
you may take a look when you pass by, but if not, then no need to specifically go to that spot, the falls is a short one, not large, not very beautiful. you can take picture of the falls on the Lewis river bridge
