What a gran new facility but again it was closed to the public because of the plague issue, I would think like Teton National Park part of it could have been open.

Fabulous
Jun 2019 • Business
Visitors often have trouble visualizing the Yellowstone hot spot, especially with internet sources screaming “the Supervolcano is overdue” so frequently. Yellowstone volcanism is presented in perspective here with nature, media, art, Native culture and earthquakes in a most educational balance. Often visitors only allow themselves one day to see the park and so have to miss the visitor centers. Please plan ahead for several days and take advantage of this outstanding resource to help appreciate the wonders of the park much better.

Nice to stop by to get some history of the park, and see some taxidermy animals. Good gift shop as well!

Best visitor center in Yellowstone NP
Sep 2019
This visitor center had great informative and interesting displays. Their movie theater was very nice, with two different movies playing about every half hour. I recommend you stop here and spend some time to learn some fascinating facts. Plenty of parking for cars and RV's. And I should mention very clean restrooms. I visited a couple of days after Labor Day around Noon and it was not crowded.

VERY Helpful Place to Visit
Sep 2019
We stayed at one of the Canyon Lodges, and we liked this Visitor Education Center. Plus there's a great bookstore, and they showed weather forecasts and wildlife spotting.

🐃 stop in for info on roads and things to do
Oct 2019 • Couples
The staff here are very knowledgeable on providing you with up to date information on which roads are closed due to weather conditions. We were stuck here earlier this week for a couple of hours due to all roads around Canyon Village being closed due to snow storms and bus accidents. Spend 20 minutes in the amphitheater to watch the movie about Yellowstone. It's time well spent. If you're looking to get a good meal go over to the cafeteria. Their prices were very good considering you're out in the middle of nowhere.
