This hike was recommended by a friend as we were trying to find something away from the crowds. We saw a coyote by the pond keeping his eye on us and some huge elk sheddings. We were surprised at how easy the hike seemed the...More

Takes about a half a day to complete if done right. Quite strenuous but enjoyable. We only saw 3 other hikers the entire course. Go early to see wildlife.

I love to hike. Trails are a spiritual and amazing place for nature. This trail is right up with some of the best moderate trails in the continental US. I loved the solitude. The only person I passed was starting as I exited. This is...More

Enjoyed the Osprey Falls Trail. First saw an Osprey when rafting the Snake River and they are truly magnificant to see. Falls are also a great wonder!

We found that any hike we did in the park we only saw a few people and it was great to see parts of the park that most people don't bother with. We did this trail after hiking up Bunsen Peak and walking down the...More

The hiking guidebook made this hike seem like it was going to be really tough, with an 800 ft descent into the canyon and an equal climb out. The hike is as advertised a full 9.2 miles so it isn't a shorty but it wasn't...More
