excellent selections and flavors of ice cream and chocolates, also trolley stop across the street took us across the river to Kentucky, drivers very informative, stopped at Hofbrau House for lunch in the beer garden.

We decided to check out downtown after business hours and found the Fountain Square alive with salsa music and dancers! It was wonderful! There were people of all ages there having a wonderful time. We found out that there is something (free) happening almost every night on Fountain Square. 100% worth checking out!

The square itself is relatively small, so there isn't room for much. There were some small tables set out with umbrellas along the south side of the square. There were 2 food trucks parked along the street, one selling Mexican food. I chose to get an order of Mexican street corn, which was decent. It was a workday and it past the regular lunch time when I was there, so maybe that's why it was fairly quiet without much going on. The fountain is pretty, but there isn't much to do except spend a few minutes walking around it.

This is a nice area. The fountain is beautiful and at night too. There was a band there tonight. There are restrooms and food there too.

Lots of great events and you can't beat the prices! The event planners should be commended. The bar is reasonably priced as well.

We stayed at the Marriott right next to Fountain Square, and our room overlooked the Square. A couple of nights during our stay there was free live music in Fountain Square, which was really nice! There aren't very many places in the area that serve food after, say, 3:00 pm, which was kind of inconvenient. Walking distance to the Taft Theatre, and we felt completely safe the entire time.

Beautiful place downtown. About 1/2 a city block. Great fountain. Large stage with music the afternoon we were there. Beer/drinks available to consume in the park. Pretty place,

we saw this nice square on christmas day, and saw the fountain nicely lit and the ice skating rink. Nice place

Walked through on our way to the Aronoff. If you want to go ice skating on a Saturday evening… make sure to sign up on their website several days early!!! It’s no longer first come first served. The fountain is off for the season now too.

Fountain Square is the center of Cincinnati since 1871. There are shops, restaurants, tables & seating along with many transportation stops. The square, was a gift from Henry Probasco in memory of Tyler Davidson. Probasco traveled to Munich & commissioned a bronze fountain from Ferdinand von Miller named The Genius of Water.

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
