Prince Jonah Kukio statue is set right on the avenue on Waikiki Beach. He was Hawaiian Royalty and one of the early statesmen for Hawaii. Often you will see the statue with leis around his neck. Today they were all gone. Again...love the art here...More

I understand that this is a statue of some prince or someone from the royal families that were placed in Hawaii long ago, people always put lais on the neck of this prince, just good to take a selfie and go.

A statue to a member of the Royal family, with a plaque explaining the significance relating to Hawaiian history. For others a phot spot opportunity.

Right on Kuhio beach. Always fresh leis hanging. The only royal person to serve in the us House of Representatives. Right on waikiki.

A good walk between Kalakaua Ave and the beach. Several statues, fountains and benches. Most have historical plaques describing the monument.
