I had a great time scuba diving with this company! They did a good job making sure the diving experience was safe, which should be everyone's first concern with beginners. I felt extremely safe during my first scuba diving experience. I had a great time too! I was able to enjoy a beautiful day on the water and saw a lot of turtles 40 feet deep! I would recommend this company to anyone! Thanks for everything guys!!

My daughter and I had our first experience with Rainbow Scuba and it was a stellar experience. Ken was our scuba instructor and thoroughly explained the ins and outs of the initial scuba diving experience. It may seem intimidating at first but it was necessary to protect us in an element that we may be unfamiliar with. Once suited up he guided us into the waters off the boat. My daughter initially was a bit frightened but Ken used his positive coaching style to help her get acclimated and calm. Once we were in it was a life changing experience to see the underwater world. We say turtles, sharks, and a large variety of fish. I would recommend Ken and Rainbow Scuba to my friends and colleagues. The cherry on top was his videography of the experience outlining everything we saw (vlog #546). We would love to do a night dive next time we are there once we have our scuba certification!!

i have been diving for about 3 years now and have dove in the Caribbean, the coast of southern california, and off the coast of O’ahu with both Island Divers and Rainbow. Given this limited experience i feel i can gauge what is good and what is not in terms of fun in diving. in comparison to Island Divers, this dive company was TONS better. for Island Divers, people couldn’t stop throwing up, even the instructors. you could say that it was because the poor conditions, and that Island Divers had no control over such factors. but i dove Island and Rainbow Divers in the SAME DAY. why were there no problems in Rainbow Divers? i don’t know. however i know this. both the dive instructors and the attitude of the crew were significantly better at Rainbow. they might be a small company but they are worth it. Ken was the one that dove with me and my family and he recorded our whole dive on his GoPro and sent us the footage. really went out of his way to edit it all out and did not have to do this. furthermore, the guy who stayed on the boat was named Hector, a super nice and easygoing funny guy who was very charismatic. these guys were next level cool and too nice. overall, i would give these guys 6 out of 5 stars if i could and would definitely recommend them over bigger dive shops.

We have been to Honolulu multiple times but the afternoon with Rainbow Scuba (Master Ken and Captain Brian) was the most memorable fun afternoon for us. Ken let us spend the afternoon in the utmost freedom while being safe and we had a fantastic time swimming with schools of fish, turtles and dolphins. Epic.

We had the most wonderful day with Ken and Hector snorkeling and seeing so many turtles. Our family has traveled around the world and snorkeled many times in various exotic waters. Never have we encountered so many turtles. It was like a dream. Ken and Hector were both wonderful. Recommend the tour for any family seeking a beautiful day out on the water! We did a private charter and it was just perfect, especially during these COVID times.
