Passed by the light in the harbor. Rather overpowered by the bridge. But it serves as a boaters landmark. Lots of sailboats in the harbor. Terrific.

The harbor walk offers a nice view from the bridge and a lot of boats around. I was able to capture a cruise ship which made it even better.

A cute little lighthouse that can only be accessed thru the hotel lobby, out to the deck... down the stairs... along the path. We walked around quite a bit before realizing how to get to it.

The old light house is on the end of Goat Island beside a large Hotel. It has a great view of the bridge and the Navy War College. It's worth a stop.

The Goat Island Light House is on a tiny Island in the Narragansett Bay which can be reached by bridge. A large hotel over -shadows the diminutive light house. However, it is still worth seeing the lighthouse up close if you are in the area....More

The lighthouse is historic, but well maintained. It is on the grounds of the Hyatt Hotel on Goat Island in Newport, Rhode Island. You can walk up to -- but not go into the lighthouse). Stand on the approach to Goat Island at Storer Park...More
