This wharf has some of the best shops in Newport. There is also nice restaurants and a nice view of the marina.

Newport at its best ,wharf lined with restaurants and tourist shops,yachts and sailboats pulled up for everyone to admire. A busy lively fun atmosphere plenty of watering holes to wet your thirst.

Full of local local shops peddling clothes, shoes, tee shirts, and the like. Multiple restaurants and bars. Hot s spot for out-of towners. Very trendy.

Had a lovely time during the week. Very crowded on the weekends. Unless you like hanging out with yuppies in pink shorts with labradoodles, don't go on the weekend.

It’s a street shopping area, so there wouldn’t be an issue walking on the street. There may be issues with taking the dog into the stores; that would be up to each store if they allowed it. Unless it’s a service dog, doubt... More

As for the walk it is about ten blocks and is easily doable. I can't answer about the coffee.
