This small park, situated off Bellevue Avenue, most notably includes the Newport Tower, a.k.a Old Stone Mill and Round Tower, that some experts now believe may have originally been constructed in the 15th century, destroyed in the 16th and rebuilt in the 17th on the...More

Touro Park is a nice green space; however, it is best for a leisurely stroll to see the Old Mill on its grounds. There are a few paved walks and a few benches and flowers in the park.

This was a bonus of our trip, Several plaques show the possiblity of which part the times this structure could be a part of. Whether you believe it was build be the Knights Temper or later. It is interesting

The tower is one of the most interesting structures I've ever seen. It has a few windows and it's hollow inside.

If so check out the tower at Touro Park. Who built it? Why? It was just there when settlers showed up.

Visited Touro Par many times. With its wonderful mysterious round stone structure and lots of space to run around or sit and watch. Also easy parking all about. A great place to spend some time outside.

A brief drive past the park allows you to spot the highlights of the park. The stone structure, while its history is interesting, isn't much to see. Lovely historical sites within walking distance of this park. I'd rather spend time visiting museums or walking along...More
