We've been to this museum each year for six years as we go to Santa Fe for the Opera. Even though some of the pieces are the same, year to year, most are different. Her pieces are always mixed with other pieces which relate to...More

If you’re an O’Keeffe fan, you have to visit. The video that includes O’Keefe herself is quite good. Staff at the welcome/ticket desk weren’t warm or friendly, unfortunately. Maybe they’ve done their jobs too long & have lost their joy?

This gallery is a must for anyone who is familiar with O'Keeffe's work. The collection there includes works by other artists as well. My only negative is that they don't have as many of O'Keeffe's works as I had hoped, but it was still very...More

For such a prolific artist I expected to see more of her art than what was displayed. There were very few of her iconic pieces. Mostly, this seemed to be a display of her tools and early efforts. There were a few pieces of each...More

We visited the museum on our visit to Santa Fe. Beautiful gallery but I was not wowed by the art as I expected I would. That is personal preference. The museum gift store had great selection.

Just go if you love O'Keefe. Lots of paintings and drawing I'd never seen in books or museums in the east. Film was great. Highly recommend and it's right in town.

Museums dedicated to a single artist can get fetishistic. (Vienna is full of such places, preserving a lock of Beethoven's hair or Mozart's toothbrush.) The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is blissfully free of such things, for the most part. Instead, the curators have concentrated on examining...More

We did not go to Ghost Ranch. However, we thought there was a nice representation of her work in the Museum, plus biographical artifacts and a nice little movie. There is even a live webcam of her garden. We were in no... More

I don't know when they are open, but I definitely recommend taking a tour. The tour is not long as the museum is small.
