I ate here a lot around 20 years ago and recently returned after a long absence - the restaurant is still great! Casual atmosphere, fun stuff on the walls, great bar, live music at times - so it does get rockin... outside or inside seating...More

We have been traveling and my kids really just needed a break. We went to Cowgirls and unknowingly they had a back porch with a playground for the kids! It was great, the food was great. We will go back.

My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch after taking the Rail Runner from Bernalillo. I had a cheeseburger and he had a buffalo burger. The burgers were great and I really liked the cole slaw. Very nice lunch.

Back in town for their Sunday music on the patio. Drinks while waiting for a table a bit tricky standing at the end of the bar waiting for the bartender's attention. Signed up for table list. Sat and ordered beer and lemonade. My wife's brisket...More

Cowgirl is a warren of rooms gathered around a patio. We walked in on a Saturday night and were offered a table just inside the door, in what appears to be an enclosed porch. It was obvious the happening place was in the bar room...More

It's been a while, but the brisket sandwich was as good as always. Came with a group of regulars for lunch. Service was great and all enjoyed their meals!

Great food at reasonable prices. Seating outside is great during the summer. Wait staff always nice and helpful. Green chili cheese burgers are great as is the fried okra. BBQ brisket is wonderful - much better than the local BBQ places.
