There isn't much for young children to do in Santa Fe, but this was a hit with my two grand children. Lots of icky and crawly critters to look at and also touch.

This was one of the favorite stops on our trip to NM. The museum is simply a room in the back of an antique mall with all kinds of amphibians, reptiles, and spiders. The owner is very kind and allows you to hold and touch...More

This location is inside a mall and shares a space with another retailer. The staff were very accommodating and after we completed our tour they offered several of the insects for us to hold. Tarantulas, centipedes, hissing cockroaches, and others were available to touch. They...More

First, this is located inside of what seems to be a run down mall that is hidden in a plaza. As small as it appears when you walk in, it's actually quite interesting and entertaining for all ages. My wife and I were thrilled to...More

All different bugs and butterflies displayed. Also many tanks with living amphibians. Kids would love it too. And they will let you hold some of the bugs. This museum is in a shopping center so it would be easy to miss.

We couldn't take a balloon ride as this was the windy season. Harrell House is inside and a fun place to visit.
