Gruet has a pretty space for its Santa Fe tasting room. The wines weren't as good as the space, but the tasting room offers a nice opportunity to sit and rest while tasting a few wines. They also sell wine by the glass.

Gruet is known for its sparkling wines and that was what brought us in. But we were pleasantly surprised that they offer a whole variety of grapes. The chardonnay was very nice. We bought a bottle.

When I asked our hotel where to get a bottle of wine he suggested Gruet. It is onlt a couple of blocks off the Plaza. The the very nice woman provided a tasting of a few wines which we found quite nice (and reasonably priced)....More
