Take the drive over from Friday Harbor. Although we didn't "do" anything while we were there other than simply take it in, the view in Cattle Point is spectacular, especially driving in from Lime Kiln Point.

THis is a great place to look for whales and a view of the Lopez island. We walked there from the american camp and made a day long hike of everything, but can obviously drive there as well.

Worth the effort to get here. Great views to Lopez Is., Olympics, and South Beach. If you're on a bike you can let the roadside speed warning tell you how much you're breaking the law, but that's just for cars. Right? But the climb out...More

Gentle rolling hills surrounded by the blue waters of the San Juan straits. Cattle Point is at the end of San Juan Islands and is a must see spot to visit.

Dogs must be on leash, but otherwise welcome. It is to protect wild life and standard practice in state and national parks.
