Enjoyed this museum much more than I thought I would. Some of the sculptures were fabulous. I would have appreciated more explanatory text for the paintings, but I did enjoy viewing them. A worthwhile stop.
There is a collection of western paintings, sculptures and artifacts that are interesting and we spent over an hour there. Neither of us found the current exhibit, Destino, worth more than a quick glance.
I walked by this museum on the way to meet friends for dinner. It was Tuesday, and I noticed a Free on Tuesday sign. So after dinner we went through the museum. It was very interesting and full of history and artifacts.

We happened into this museum after seeing a sign offering free admission on Tuesday evenings. It is well worth paying for though! Stunning pieces of western sculpture and paintings kept us happily occupied for a couple of hours. And it's right along the River Walk.
