Beer and Whiskey Samplers
Jun 2021
Tasting room visit - didn't do the Saturday-only tour. We had a flight of their beers on tap and a tasting of their Whiskey (Rimshot) plus the tenderloin and cheese sampler - which was well worth the $15 bucks it cost. The flight was good - especially the 11.0% Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout. If you like your beer black and flavorful, this one's for you. The place is in an industrial park, but Google Maps will take you right to it - and it is worth a visit.

Great tour. Even better samples!
Had a great time touring the brewstilery. Mike was super cool and beyond knowledgeable. Shared some good info on the beers and spirits that make. The VIP part at the end of the tour is worth it. Will be joining their club and visiting again.

Best distillery in the state, hands down!

Ranger Creek is a “Must See/Do”. San Antonio is known for a lot of things but Ranger Creek is putting it on the map with their out of sight whiskeys. Smooth, drinkable, and full of flavor, I wanted to try them all! On fridays and saturdays you’ll have to check out their cocktails. If liquor isn’t for you, try their awesome beer or food trucks! The tasting room has great atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be coming back in the future!

It was fun and I learned a lot! The staff and other people on the tour were very friendly too. I’ve already recommended this tour to more than a few others!

Fun and Relaxing

My husband and I visited as the first stop to our San Antonio getaway. The whiskey was great and the staff were very friendly and informative. I am not typically a whiskey drinker and they have changed that. Per my husband the beer was delicious and we brought some home with us too. We look forward to our next visit.

Big Mike did an exceptional tour. One of the best tours we have been on. You can tell that he is passionate about what he does. He made it interesting for people like me who came in with no knowledge as well as people who obviously knew much more.
I don't drink alcohol and I even thought that the beer was good.

Awesome BrewDistillery Tour
“Big Mike” did an outstanding job with our 1 hour tour that actually took over 2 hours with our group’s many questions. Our tour included 2 beers each, plus a couple samplings of a couple bourbons. The tour was well presented. We will definitely do it again on our next trip to the San Antonio or Austin area. A nice short drive from either city. We thoroughly enjoyed the Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Red.

Texas Bourbon?! It’s actually really good and you can learn why.
Sep 2020
Matt gave us a great tour and explained a lot about how they make beer and whiskey. I’m a scotch girl, so was a little hesitant on Texas bourbon. I was pleasantly surprised and would drink that again. Found out Texas climate is actually good for something and that’s making whiskey. Stop by and Matt will explain everything. Great for a group of friends.

Basic tour.
Feb 2020
I booked this for my boyfriend who liked the tour. You receive a glass and a couple of refill beers for $10.00. Since I do not drink I received a glass and a can coke for $5.00. I have been on several tours here in the US and in Europe so I can say that this is a very basic tour with one of the owners explaining how beer is made. Nice guy who drank during the tour (as did almost everyone else except me and the multiple kids). Mostly young crowd (but well behaved).
