My husband and I wanted to visit this museum since our first stroll down Essex St. after arriving in Salem. We didn’t know what was inside at all, but in passing saw just what the gift shop looked like and couldn’t wait to get in...More

Then don't miss this place! Amazing statues of famous characaters. Little known facts and even face molds of famous people. Signed memorabilia and a place to watch old horror movies all included for the cheap price of 11 dollars. One of the least expensive attractions...More

Every year I make a trip to Salem and always make it a point to stop here. It’s not your typical “haunted attraction” that you’ll find in Salem. It’s actually not haunted at all, it’s a mini museum of horror classics! It’s creepy and eerie...More

Me and a friend went into Count Orloks to kill some time. I did read reviews before visiting so I wasn’t expecting too much. I personally didn’t love it nor did I hate it. I feel like it would’ve been more fun if you were...More

Which reviews did you read? While we understand the compulsion to take photos of things one sees is strong we like to point out that this isn't a rare rule in museums. And for those who are curious, we do create environments for many of...More

This had a lot of great art and detail to everything inside. It was very fun. It's also a nice touch that they have celebrities from past horror movies do autographs and photo ops during certain days/times in October.

I didn’t think it was worth the $12 or $13 we paid. It’s in a very small space so it literally is just the wax figures... no sets or anything. I feel like we were in and out in 5 minutes. The wax figures were...More

The atmosphere is very cool, but you aren't allowed to take pictures so it doesn't really do anyone any good. There doesn't seem to be anything unique in the museum, just blurbs about old horror movies that you could get on wikipedia.More

Absurd. Nothing in this museum is something you can simply get from wikipedia.. Of course since photos aren't allowed you may have actually forgotten all of the many many unique figures and artifacts on display.. If there was nothing unique in the museum, why on...More

This is a horror movie lover’s heaven! All the big, scary, baddies from the most well-known horror movies make an appearance in this museum! Come face to face with huge, life-like statues of creepers such as Pennywise, Alien vs. Predator, Jason, Freddy, and Michael and...More

This is a movie monster exhibit. Lots to read, interesting facts. Not a big place, can get crowded making self guided tour difficult to get full effect when reading. Thought there would be more to it, but good to see once. The offer a movie...More

Hello! Unfortunately we will not be open in February. You might ask the Visitors Center. They might have a better idea.
