There was a time when great artists designed our coins! Here's the home of one of them! Beautiful, moving, well-curated and set in a lovely part of New Hampshire. Seeing the bronze Shaw Memorial in a garden setting is almost a religious experience. There are...More

We all loved it. You are able to see the actual first prototype of the sculptures. Sherman's bust seems like it is looking at you. DO NOT miss the cameos. They are exquisite. The house, the carriages, his studio, and even the tree he planted...More

Be prepared to pay at this park. It is definitely not free. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and there are examples of his work all over. This is the Life and Times of this artist for sure! This is the man that designed our dollar...More

Made the complete tour of this National Historic Site. I’ve known about this for years but this was the first visit. Very impressive sculptures and grounds. Enjoy.

I thought I was going to be visiting a peaceful rural retreat and be able to enjoy sculptures. NOT! Lawnmovers, building repairs, busloads of people...not peaceful at all. Especially the lawnmover- even inside you could not hear yourself think. And not many sculptures...a few reproductions....More

I'm sorry, I have no idea. I don't recall seeing any pets. Call the National Park Service, they will help.
