This eccentric theater is home, to some of the best shows in town. The Rialto opened in 1920. There is an old fashioned ticket booth in front. The checker board floor, is at incline, as you enter. The walls are decorated with unique poster art....More

The theatre is old but very charming! I was told that they used to show movies there, but it has been converted to a music venue. Because it is an older theatre the bathrooms are not designed for lots of people who are probably drinking!...More

Attended the amazing Celebrating David Bowie show at the Rialto Theatre. Despite being long time area residents, this was our first time there. Not really sure why we had not attended anything there before, but we’re not fans of GA shows and mistakenly thought all...More

We opted to select seats in the balcony because we didn't want to do standing only on the floor. The venue is old and could use some updating but it still remains a classic in the Tucson Downtown neighborhood. The acoustics are average. I try...More

Great venue to see a show. Nothing fancy but if you are a music lover this place won’t disappoint. We were a little concerned when almost immediately upon arriving a couple of groups were escorted out but I’d rather see someone escorted out than have...More

Great show! Cool venue, the balcony & slanted floor helped get better view for sure! Smelled like popcorn but never could find any.

Air condition worked fine! Staff nice and polite. The sound quality was spot on. Seats were not crazy spaced together. It was a fine old theater. Only issue - wish it had video screens.

Just the facts--historic look and feel; angled floor for good sight lines in main/standing section; ample seating in rear of main floor and in upper tier; easy access to bars; friendly staff & efficient, pleasant security; large stage and excellent sound. Tip: easy parking in...More

I truly dislike the feeling of giving a local business a negative review. However, my reviews are honest, not sugar coated. My husband and I attended the "Cinema Twain" showing (VIP Tickets). The Rialto Theatre is old and it's hot inside. The sound system definitely...More

Like a previous reviewer, we went to the Val Kilmer show last Saturday and it was a total disappointment. First, the theater is not air conditioned or if it is, the system cannot keep up with Tucson's 100+ degree days and nights. Second, the chairs...More
